This key role is essential to the functioning of our successful, busy, stand-alone retail site, situated in Holborn, London. You’ll be someone with previous retail and cash-handling experience who takes pride in providing a top-notch level of customer support and assistance to your customers and colleagues.

Our London team consists of retail specialists, beauty and skincare consultants and conferencing/meeting organisers and is tight-knit, enthusiastic and supportive of each other.

Main tasks:

• Provision of a first-class customer service to our Business Owners and Customers. Ensuring that service level agreements are exceeded and the order / purchase process is an enjoyable experience for all parties

• Cash handling on 4 till points and working with chip and pin machines and direct debit accounts. Working on the AS400, our in-house database, for orders, queries and reports

• Dealing with queries and managing expectations regarding products, their availability, ordering, etc. This may include, for example, queries on stock, general retail, refunds, exchanges and other general enquiries

• Stock replenishment and working with stock control to ensure store fulfilment at all times; assisting in maintaining a clean and tidy work environment

• Assisting the management team with cashing up and banking activities ensuring that Head Office procedures are adhered to at all times

• Providing assistance at events and training functions within the UKFEC. This may include meeting and greeting delegates, administration where required by upline and providing general support to the team

• Assisting with the set up and smooth running of training events and meetings, which may include supporting the trainers, providing and / or arranging refreshments and general assistance throughout the centre at any time

Skills and Experience Required:

• Must be fluent and well-spoken in English, both verbally and written

• Experience of working within a demanding, service-led retail environment is essential, including cash handling using computerised till

• Experience of working in health/nutrition, beauty and/or direct sales would be highly beneficial

• Demonstrating a mature attitude, and a “can-do” manner, helpful and friendly

• Consistently demonstrated high customer service ethic and sales ability

• Conscientious with the ability to self-manage and self-motivate

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish, maintain and develop effective relationships by using appropriate interpersonal style and effective influencing skills

• Smart and well groomed with a confident, friendly and approachable personal style

• Team orientated with the ability to integrate into a small team

• A calm and positive temperament

• Helpful and collaborative approach, strong customer service ethic, willing to “go the extra mile”

• Able to work every Saturday in Central London location (hours are 10am-5.30pm with 30 minutes lunch)

• You must have the right to work in the UK to be considered for this role
